Stenciling Stairs
When your house is a fixer-upper, you cannot simply stencil your stairs.
You must first patch the hole that you’ve been trying to ignore since you moved in 5 years ago.
Then, you should detach the railing and spray paint it a fun color. (It took 3 coats.)
You should then paint the drab, dirty, beigey walls that haven’t been painted since the 80’s.
You should definitely paint the risers and then prep the step area for a new color.
It helps if you have a six-year-old nearby to ask you a thousand questions while you’re held captive taping the stairs.
Then, you should paint every other step so you are not trapped in the basement.
It’s good to force draft enlist trick cajole ask others to help along the way.
They had a great time. See those smiles!
To be continued…
