Wood Polish

Posted on

We have an old end table that is scraped and scratched up, but is oh so useful,

especially when 007 eats treats in the living room.

This pin promises that a bit of olive oil and a bit of vinegar

will make the scratches disappear.

I’m game.

Here’s the bottom

Here’s the top

How did it get in such a state?

Here’s the culprit.

His cuteness is his disguise. 😉

Back to the pin.

1/4 cup of Olive Oil

1/4 cup of vinegar (I used apple cider vinegar)

I rubbed it on the table and…

It actually made some of the surface scratches disappear.

The mixture made the wood so shiny

and apparently, tasty too!

I will definitely been using this one again.

It’s much better (and cheaper) than wood polishes that I use to purchase.

13 more pins to go.
