Summer Dog Treat

Posted on Updated on

Seamus is our one-year-old furry baby. We love him.  Since it is so very hot this week, we decided to make him a treat for the dog days of summer. It’s like a doggie ice pop. I can’t find the original pin, but I’ll walk you though the complicated process. 😉

Cat is out babysitting so, these are my assistants today.

We poured some water into a Tupperware container,

mixed in a little chicken bullion,

DSC_0386tossed in a few chew toys,

and popped it in the freezer for a few hours.

Later on, while we ate dinner on the patio, Seamus enjoyed his ice pop.

That’s it. 46 to go.

I work for a magazine about pet boarding, and some of our readers call these “pupsicles” 🙂
